New England American Diabetes Association Adults with Type 1 Diabetes Program

In 2016 after several years of looking for a local organization to partner with to create local programming for adults with type 1 diabetes, I was thrilled to join forces with the New England American Diabetes Association. We had ideas of what we wanted to do but held focus groups and online survey's to help us truly understand what people in this demographic wanted. To no one's surprise, the data confirmed that networking and education around technology were at the top of the list. In the late winter 2017, through early spring I worked closely with the ADA to fine-tune the mission of this endeavor as well as create and launch several events. Unfortunately, this program was cut short due to an organizational change in direction.
